BrydenSMP Server Rules

Preamble:

BrydenSMP is dedicated to fostering a positive and engaging community where players can enjoy Minecraft together. We encourage cooperation, fair competition, and mutual respect. These rules are designed to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.

Community Expectations:

 * Respectful Conduct: Treat all players with courtesy and respect.

 * Fair Play: Engage in gameplay that upholds the spirit of fair competition.

 * Positive Interactions: Contribute to a positive and constructive community environment.

Prohibited Conduct:

The following actions are strictly prohibited and will result in disciplinary action:

 * Chat Misconduct:

   * Using inappropriate language, engaging in offensive discussions, or telling offensive jokes.

   * Spamming or flooding the chat with repetitive messages.

 * Unauthorized Advertising:

   * Promoting external servers, websites, or services, including Minecraft-related content.

 * Threats and Attacks:

   * Threatening or executing distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks against the server or players.

 * Harassment and Blackmail:

   * Harassing, blackmailing, or intimidating other players through any means.

 * Exploits and Cheating:

   * Utilizing hacked clients, exploits, or any unauthorized modifications to gain an unfair advantage.

 * Staff Disrespect:

   * Disrespecting or harassing server staff members.

 * Inappropriate Content:

   * Creating builds or content that are offensive, sexually suggestive, or otherwise inappropriate.

 * Market Manipulation:

   * Engaging in "shop flipping" or any other form of market manipulation. Any such actions will result in the forfeiture of involved funds.

 * Dishonesty During Investigations:

   * Providing false or misleading information during staff investigations.

 * Swearing:

   * Moderate swearing is allowed, however excessive, threatening, or targeted swearing is prohibited. Example: "Damn" after death is acceptable, while targeted verbal abuse is not.

Consequences of Rule Violations:

Violations of these rules may result in one or more of the following disciplinary actions:

 * Warnings

 * Temporary kicks from the server

 * Temporary or permanent bans

Ban Appeals:

 * To appeal a ban, please submit a detailed request through the designated server forums.

Owner's Discretion:

 * The server owner, bryden7799, reserves the right to modify these rules or implement new server policies at any time, without prior notice, to ensure the optimal functioning and integrity of BrydenSMP. It is up to you to come and check back on this frequently.
